Introduction About TAXIM O 200MG TABLET
Taxim-O is used to manage bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, sinus, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, biliary tract, and genital tract. It can also be used in the management of typhoid fever.
It contains a medicine called Cefixime, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria by interfering with the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall and eventually killing the bacteria.

How TAXIM O 200MG TABLET Works
Taxim-O is a powerful antibiotic with bacteriostatic properties. It kills susceptible bacteria by blocking the bacterial cell wall synthesis. Unlike other cephalosporins, it can also remain unaffected by the toxic proteins produced by the bacteria (such as beta-lactamases). Collectively, these actions destroy the susceptible bacteria, manage their further growth and multiplication, and reduce the severity of the infection.
